Refund & Cancellation Policy (User)

This policy explains refund eligibility, cancellation rules, and platform limitations applicable to users booking rides.

1. Platform Service Clarification

Sawari Adda is a technology platform that enables users to connect with independent ride providers. We do not provide transportation services directly. Refund eligibility depends on booking status, cancellation timing, and payment method.

2. User-Initiated Cancellation

  • If cancelled before ride provider confirms the booking – Full refund (if prepaid).
  • If cancelled after confirmation but before scheduled pickup time – Partial refund may apply (platform service fee may be non-refundable).
  • If cancelled after scheduled pickup time or after ride start – No refund will be issued.

Frequent cancellations may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.

3. No-Show by User

If a user fails to reach the pickup location within a reasonable waiting time, the booking will be marked as completed or cancelled, and no refund will be issued.

4. Service Issues & Refund Requests

If you experience a genuine service issue (such as incorrect pickup details, major delay, or safety concern), you must report it within 48 hours of ride completion.

Refund approval is subject to internal review based on ride logs, communication records, GPS data, and payment confirmation.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days. Actual credit time depends on your bank or payment provider.

Sawari Adda is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment gateways.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Cancellation after ride has started.
  • Incorrect pickup or drop details entered by the user.
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or external conditions.
  • Disputes without supporting evidence.
  • Change of mind after confirmation.

7. Fraud & Misuse

Submitting false refund claims, chargeback abuse, or fraudulent complaints may result in permanent suspension of the user account and legal action if necessary.

8. Policy Updates

Sawari Adda reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of revised terms.
